BREAKING: State Board of Elections asks Attorney General to investigate Moran campaign

Jim Moran’s luck has apparently run out, as this is one scandal that is not going away after a few days. Mike Ginsberg, an attorney and chairman of the 8th District Republican Committee, wrote to the Virginia State Board of Elections and Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli requesting an investigation into the voter fraud scandal. The Attorney General’s office responded that they need an explicit request from the State Board of Elections to investigate potential voter fraud.

The Virginia State Board of Elections held an emergency meeting today and unanimously requested an investigation by the attorney general’s office. This is in addition to the Arlington County Police Department criminal probe into the campaign.

We at RetireJimMoran.com repeat our call for Jim Moran to suspend his campaign immediately until these legal processes are completed. We stand by our demand that Moran resign or not seek re-election after two decades of unethical behavior.

Call Jim Moran’s campaign office at 703-299-0064 and urge him to suspend his campaign in the interest of the people of the 8th District.
