5% is too much for Jim Moran

Jim Moran gave us all an indication of how he will vote and behave in the new 112th Congress by being one of 13 members of the House to vote against a 5% cut in congressional office budgets.

The bill passed 410-13 and will reduce the “amount authorized for salaries and expenses of members, committee, and leadership offices in 2011 and 2012″ by five percent.

Apparently, five percent was too much for our very reasonable congressman who, back in April, was one of 15 House members to vote to raise his own pay.
